Lead IT Engineer · Neko Health (ex-Kry) · Stockholm
I look after the infrastructure, identity and automation that keep modern healthcare running. Based in Stockholm, originally from Scotland. Happiest closing the gap between how things work and how they could, and keeping the things people rely on quietly dependable.
I'm an IT and infrastructure engineer in healthtech, now Lead IT Engineer at Neko Health, the Stockholm company reimagining preventive healthcare. Before that I spent nearly six years at Kry, one of Europe's leading digital health companies, looking after Azure cloud infrastructure, identity and access, Microsoft 365, and the automations that keep everything running behind the scenes. Healthcare is the part I care about most: technology that quietly holds up something people genuinely rely on.
Before Sweden I was in Glasgow with NVT Group, supporting a range of organisations including healthcare ones like Glasgow Memory Clinic and St Columba's Hospice Care. I hold a 1st Class BSc in Computer Science, and moved to Stockholm in 2020.
Outside work the same itch turns into side projects: a suite of Swedish personal finance calculators and an AI tool that reads BRF annual reports, alongside photography on a Sony Alpha and a slowly growing collection of ancient coins.
Scotland to Stockholm: where I started, and where I am now.
