BRF Analyser uses AI to process annual reports. It works out of the box with Google Gemini (free). You can optionally switch to Claude or GPT-4o with your own API key.
This is an AI provider API key, not a password. It is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and used solely to call the AI provider you choose.
Choose how the annual report is read. Sending the PDF directly lets the AI see tables and scanned pages, which is the most accurate option.
When on, the PDF file is sent to your chosen AI provider (Google or Anthropic) so it can read tables and scanned reports. When off, the PDF is read in your browser and only the extracted text is sent, so the file never leaves your device. OpenAI always uses extracted text. Either way, the file is never stored on our servers.
1. With "Send the PDF directly" on (default), the PDF is sent to your chosen AI provider for the most accurate reading of tables and scanned pages.
2. With it off, the PDF is read in your browser with PDF.js and only the extracted text is sent.
3. The AI returns structured financial data, which is rendered as your report.
4. Everything runs client-side. Your custom API key is stored in localStorage only, and the file is never stored on our servers.
Google Gemini (default, free): Get a free API key at aistudio.google.com. Uses Gemini 2.5 Flash. A default key is provided so the tool works out of the box.
Anthropic: Sign up at console.anthropic.com and create an API key. Uses Claude Sonnet for analysis.
OpenAI: Sign up at platform.openai.com and create an API key. Uses GPT-4o for analysis.
